Are you passionate about serving customers and managing technology? As a Station Assistant with Anderson Last Mile, you will be an important member of our station based Operations Management Team who safely and reliably delight customers in Edmonton and across Alberta. You will apply diverse business and technology skills to support the team in the areas of operations, safety and human resources while you deepen and develop your leadership style and abilities. 

Duties

• Receive delivery team, handle inquiries, and facilitate end of shift activities to ensure a welcoming and efficient station environment

• Support safe work practices and procedures, including documenting and appropriately escalating concerns from drivers

• Maintain high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail within a logistics setting

• Provide helpful and respectful services to support employee engagement and a people focused culture

• Assist with diverse operational functions by analyzing operational data, maintaining issues logs, procurement of uniforms and supplies, vehicle or personnel shuttling, and other duties as needed

Hours of Work, Schedules & Training

• Evening coverage, start time approximately 4:30 pm
• Flexible schedule
• Weekend availability preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate is $19.15
• Up to 30 hours per week

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Excellant oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use various mobile and computer applications
• Customer service experience an asset 
• Class 5 driver's license and / or reliable transportation to station location
