Role Overview
Are you ready for a workout while you work? The Dock Worker role is physically demanding and essential. Working on the inbound or outbound docks, you will handle large volumes of inventory, operating pallet jacks and other equipment to load and unload semi-trucks efficiently. If you like staying active and working with machinery, this is the role for you.
Your Responsibilities
- Loading/Unloading: Manually move inventory into and out of trailers.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate manual and electric pallet jacks (training provided).
- Traffic Control: Ensure the safe flow of people and equipment on the busy dock floor.
- Scanning: Ensure all inventory is tracked accurately as it enters or leaves the building.
