Master the Yard on the Night Shift
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Yard Jockeys (Hostlers) to manage the critical flow of trailers at our busy Amazon Fulfillment Centers. Working the night shift, you will be the conductor of the yard, moving 53' trailers to and from dock doors to ensure our operations never stop. This fast-paced role combines precision driving with logistics management, offering top-tier pay and the stability of working for Amazon.
Your Mission
- Trailer Movement: Safely operate a terminal tractor (yard mule) to shuttle trailers between parking spots and dock doors.
- Yard Logistics: Use onboard computers to receive move requests and place trailers efficiently to maximize yard flow.
- Safety & Compliance: Perform yard audits, ensure trailers are secured with wheel chocks/glad hands, and maintain 100% safety compliance.
- Team Communication: Coordinate moves via radio with dock clerks and warehouse leadership.

Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
