Role and Responsibilities:

As a Express Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in delivering packages efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Your main responsibilities include:

• Safely transport packages between delivery stations, facilities, and customer locations.

• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules using Amazon’s GPS and mobile tools.

• Load and unload packages carefully and efficiently from delivery vehicles.

• Use handheld devices to navigate routes, scan packages, and confirm deliveries.

• Interact professionally with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any delivery issues or vehicle problems promptly.

• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and Amazon delivery policies.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep delivery vehicles clean and in good working condition.

• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and delivery issues to supervisors and dispatchers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 lbs.

• Minimum age of 21 years (depending on local regulations).

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in delivery services, logistics, courier work, or transportation.

• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile route planning apps.

• Knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.

• Ability to manage high-volume delivery routes and meet performance targets.

• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
