Amazon Prime is Amazon’s premium membership program, offering fast and free delivery on millions of products. To maintain Prime’s high delivery standards, Amazon partners with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs)—independent businesses that manage teams of drivers and operate from Amazon delivery stations. As a Parcel Delivery Specialist, you will be employed by a DSP rather than Amazon directly, but you will represent the Amazon brand by ensuring reliable and on-time deliveries every day.

Role and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle (commonly a cargo van) to deliver Amazon packages to residences, businesses, and apartment complexes.

• Load and unload packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Use GPS navigation and follow delivery instructions through an Amazon mobile application.

• Deliver 150–300 packages daily, depending on route and location.

• Provide courteous and professional interactions with customers to deliver excellent service.

• Accurately scan, handle, and deliver packages within set timelines.

• Conduct vehicle inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle.

• Work independently while meeting delivery accuracy and performance goals.

• Assist fellow drivers with tasks such as rescue deliveries and relays when needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (standard Class D, CDL not required).

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Ability to safely drive and operate a delivery van.

• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable climbing in and out of a van and walking stairs throughout the shift.

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment.

• Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

• Ability to use smartphone applications for navigation, communication, and delivery tracking.
