Shift: 10:20AM-8:50PM (10hrs) and shifts are available 7 days per week. Weekend availability is Mandatory.

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations that may include ascending / descending stairs.
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Efficiently load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Delivery Driver Compensation & Benefits:

• $21.75/hr

Scheduling:

• 10-hour shifts are typical
• Start off 2-3 day workweek, 4 day workweek is based off performance
• Full Time Offers are based off of Performance, Attendance and Availability
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks and 1 unpaid 30 minute meal break during your shift

Long Gray Linehaul is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic and driven team players to join the #1 Amazon DSP in the region and help us deliver smiles through the Houston area. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages. Long Gray Linehaul has secure work with steady routes and is building on five years of growth achieving the highest performance rating amongst all other DSPs in the region. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on-time. 

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must hold a valid and active driver’s license for at least 1 year
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (includes pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
